TRAVELLING THE ENTERIORS OF UGANDA

TRAVELLING THE ENTERIORS OF UGANDA

Life, like a print, captures the intricate details of our journey, leaving behind a tapestry of experiences that define who we are. In this vast canvas, each moment contributes to the overall masterpiece, much like the different hues and strokes on a canvas. Embarking on a journey through Ugandan interiors is akin to flipping through the pages of a well-worn novel, each page telling a unique story of culture, history, and the vibrant spirit of the people. As we delve into the heart of Uganda, the landscapes unfold like chapters, revealing a diverse and captivating narrative. The first strokes on this canvas may take us to the bustling streets of Kampala, where the rhythm of life beats in sync with the vibrant marketplaces and the energetic pulse of the city. The colors here are bold, reflecting the lively atmosphere that characterizes the capital. From the traditional craft markets to the contemporary art scenes, Kampala's streets paint a picture of a city that seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. Moving beyond the urban sprawl, the rural interiors of Uganda offer a contrasting palette. The lush greenery, sprawling plantations, and the warmth of the people create a serene landscape. It's a chapter that celebrates the simplicity of life, where the print of nature is the dominant feature. The rural life in Uganda, with its close connection to the land, becomes a poignant narrative, reminding us of the roots that ground us. One cannot talk about Uganda without acknowledging the majestic beauty of its national parks. The wildlife that graces the landscapes is like characters in an epic tale. The savannahs, the jungles, and the lakes become the backdrop for a story of survival, coexistence, and the delicate balance of nature. In this chapter, the print of conservation becomes evident, with efforts to protect and preserve the unique biodiversity that defines Uganda. As the journey continues, the historical imprints come to the forefront. Entebbe, with its colonial architecture, stands as a testament to Uganda's complex past. It's a chapter that invites reflection on the impact of history on the present, acknowledging the scars while celebrating the resilience that defines the Ugandan spirit. Ugandan interiors also showcase a rich tapestry of traditions and customs. The print of cultural heritage is vivid in the traditional dances, ceremonies, and the unique rituals that have been passed down through generations. It's a celebration of identity, an acknowledgment of the diverse ethnic groups that contribute to the mosaic of Ugandan culture. The culinary scene in Uganda adds yet another layer to the canvas. The print of flavors, from the staple dishes like matoke to the street food delicacies, tells a story of culinary artistry. Each meal becomes a sensory experience, a taste of the local culture that lingers in the memory. While the print of Ugandan interiors is undeniably colorful, it's important to recognize the challenges that exist. The chapters of socio-economic disparities, environmental concerns, and the struggle for equitable development are integral parts of the narrative. Addressing these issues is crucial for a holistic understanding of Uganda and its potential for positive transformation. life indeed is a print, and exploring the interiors of Uganda offers a canvas rich with stories waiting to be told. Whether it's the bustling urban life, the serene rural landscapes, the wildlife adventures, or the cultural celebrations, each chapter contributes to the vibrant narrative of Uganda.

Kashmir obsession with Pakistan

Kashmir obsession with Pakistan

For many years this question has been asked....Why does the deep state of Pakistan has an obsession with Kashmir. I'll not get into what you all know and are aware of...how Maharaja Hari Singh cession to the Republic of India happened. So as a lay man....J&K including the POK, Gilgit Baltistan and Aksi chin which was the territory of the kingdom joined the Republic of India. So what brings the obsession of Pakistan for Kashmir???? Pakistan can decide to have a two nation theory and create an ISLAMIC REPUBLIC....go on to talk about UMMA....have over 40,000 terrorists' housed in Pakistan...Osama Bin Laden gets spotted in Abbotabad.... They have a problem with RSS....do they even know the principles of RSS???? It's not Hindutwa...It's Nationalism. You can be a Muslim or a Christian or a Sikh...but you need to live for INDIA...The NATION COMES FIRST. Pakis will never understand this philosophy...half of the time they have been ruled by the deep state. India, Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Malaysia, Turkey, USA, have all given you the 3rd fingure.....when will you realize and smell the coffee???? Wake up man......

Why there is a visible rise in right wing thoughts? Good or bad

Why there is a visible rise in right wing thoughts? Good or bad

Hi. The times are changing and for good i believe. The world has suffered beyond bearing. whether countries in North Africa, Middle East, Far East, USA, Europe (Eastern as well as western) or Indian sub-continent. What brought these sufferings? Many including me believe the cause essentially originates from the either individually or deadly combination of communism and radical fundamentalist Islam. You can see the change in attitude and approach of PM Modi, Prez Trump, PM Johnson, Prez Macron and many more. Most of the countries today are spending more on defense and security. Who are we securing against? I m sure you know the answers. Now thee question is how do we deal with it. Direct confrontation or change in policies? The Islamic nations have OIC (Organization of Islamic Cooperation). Was there a need for it? By doing so they simply alienated themselves from the rest of the nations. Is UN, BRICS, SCO, QUAD, NAM, SAARC and EU just to name a few have anything to do with religion or economic thought process? I guess its time to ponder over it and Groom our Groomers to stand firm for leading us to a better world to live in.

Life In India as a black girl

Life In India as a black girl

India is a beautiful country but can be challenging especially for a black girl. I prefer ending with the good side so I will start with the challenging side. I came to India in 2008.I was quite excited and ready to discover India, its people, its diversity ,it’s food, it’s languages, it’s music and movies, to embrace a new culture in this land of Mahatma Gandhi. I was welcomed with things that I was unprepared for like the deep and long stares everyday which was quite uncomfortable. In fact many times I had to psychologically prepare myself for being a tourist attraction every time before stepping out of my door. Many at times I would avoid going out because I didn’t want to be stared at. Being An African made it difficult to get an apartment in good housing society in Mumbai then. For people in the society where I finally stayed, an African meant a drug peddler. I remember when a Nigerian friend came to visit. The guard took thousands of explanations from us to allow him in, and barely had we sat down, than the whole society collected outside…, and more saddening is the pornographic image of Africans that I felt some people carried in their heads. I can never forget the time that I traveled to deep village of Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh. Where I went to the regional FRO for extension of my provisional student visa. The guy said a big no, and when tried to question for a reason why, He says he could implicate me in a prostitution case, then. That Really left me sad. I feel like many people don't know about Africans judging from questions I have been asked especially in the villages. Questions like Are all people in your place like you?, Was your hair like that from birth? well that may be okay, not knowing a particular region. But saddening is that even many educated seemed not to know that Africa is a continent and not a country. For many Africa is either Nigeria or South Africa. In university though the laughing gangs were annoying. I found the majority to be friendly and always made sure I don’t feel out of place. This is one thing that makes your stay easy, knowing that the biggest percentage is the friendly one. Making the unfriendly ones so insignificant , to mind. So, Despite of the fact that India can be quite challenging, it also has the most beautiful side and the beautiful section of society like my good class-mates then, my friends and family make it fun and Easy. With time I've come to learn the reasons behind some things that used to make me so uncomfortable. such as the deep stares , the constant casual-kind of interviews, and lots more as I will be telling you in BlackGal In India. Worth mentioning is the love, care, helpfulness and oneness of the people of Nagpur as whole, It's one place I have loved not only as a place but also the people. From where I stay, the amazing friends I've made, to the streets, Nagpur is a friendly city. It is said, "Your Life Is a Print-out of your thoughts" if you change your thinking you change your life. It has been 13 years since I first came to India, and my experience in India over years has taught me so much about India, changing my thoughts about India and My Life in India as a whole. Join me travel India as I tell my story as a black girl in India and how I deal with the challenges and enjoy the beauty side of it, in my “Black gal in India series”/ Playlist on Talk on print channel here https://bit.ly/talkonprint Spey

INDIA & CHINA IN THE RING

INDIA & CHINA IN THE RING

With the boarder tensions that left many soldiers martyred, and the pulling out of India from the Chabahar port, Africa may be the new ring for India and China to compete Africa is caught in the middle given the fact that both India and china are both important trade partners. Africa is in a position of one with two fighting friends who are both very important, and you can not choose sides. China being the first biggest partner and India being the third biggest partner for Africa.Thought of the possibilities taking either side and lots of reasons popped in my mind. FOR CHINA Taking China side would not be wise for African countries despite of china being Africa's big investor and trade partner, because going with China means going against US especially with the trade and diplomatic pulling between China and US. Also China's been controversial most time, coupled with miss treatments of African and the hostile lending terms it gives. Well I believe every country wants to grow its economy but not at the cost of the nation's sovereign assets. FOR INDIA Taking India side would also be unwise given the fact that most African countries especially in the sub Saharan are Indebted to China. India being a democracy and having trust among many nations would be an enticing factor, I would still say as Ghanaian say " Africa shine your eye " According to print Post the border clashes, India and China are striving to create a robust influence in Africa through humanitarian aid and investments. However, with the countries adopting different outreach strategies, analysts suggest that competition between India and China is unnecessary as there is room for both to make their presence felt.  According to  Maria Siow , a China-based journalist and analyst, India’s renewed focus on Africa is a result of China’s growing footprint on the continent, not just in terms of trade and commerce, but also Beijing’s rising maritime interests. ( The EurAsian Times) The multidimensional rivalry between India and China looks set to grow more acute following the death of 20 Indian soldiers in a border skirmish with Chinese forces. Africa, as a continent of increasing importance to both China and India, stands to see another manifestation of this competition. ( The Diplomat) And the recent pulling of India out of he Chabahar may add to the competition.
